Twas the night before the Garden of Eden and all through the house, not a creature was stirring not even a muff! We are so excited about our event tomorrow at Dolce here in Toronto! It will be an amazing celebration of a month's worth of efforts by our Julyna committee, sponsors and friends to generate awareness and raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society in the fight against cervical cancer. There is still time to make a donation to Team Julyna's fundraising efforts by visiting our team page and we will be selling tickets (IF THERE ARE ANY LEFT) leading up to the event.

The "David Suzuki"



By far one of the most talked about design for Julyna has been the David Suzuki - what does a girl have to do to get a call from the environmentalist himself?! Is there some way we can link grooming "down below" with the fight against global warming!? Hmmm....maybe we are on to something here!?

The countdown is certainly on as we prepare to wrap-up our first annual Julyna! This has been an incredible month of fundraising and we are well on our way to exceeding our fundraising goal! I had a change of heart from the side part and went for the landing strip at GEE Beauty today. I was inspired by the writing on the wall in the treatment room that said "she's seen it all"! I felt like I was in good hands AND there for a good cause with profits going to the Canadian Cancer Society from all Julyna waxes!

Well....a lot has transpired since we last posted. An amazing interview on 99.9FM here in Toronto last Thursday and some favorable coverage on SunNews network today! We are incredibly proud of the funds raised thus far - through our individual pledges on the Canadian Cancer Society community page, our sale of custom Julyna GelaSkins, GEE beauty Julyna waxes AND our incredible sponsors - GlaxoSmithKline, Molson Canadian, Urbnlili and Vitamin Water!

I'm off to GEE beauty to get a side part tomorrow:) Have you picked your shape yet? I also took the opportunity to book my annual physical to screen for any abnormalities - truly a month of personal wellness!
